Hello, many thanks for taking the time to view my website. This site tells the story of my photographic journey to date.
This is not a story of amazing unbelievable light or impossible views, although the light is sometimes spectacular, this is about taking time to listen to the environment and letting it's own voice be heard. The majority of my images are made with "old fashioned" equipment and shot on film as this is the way I prefer to work. It is a much slower and more thoughtful and deliberate way to work which perfectly suits my own personality.
Working with natural light and variable climatic conditions can be very challenging at times but with perseverance this is the place where those magic moments combine to produce wonderful images.
In 2015 I became a member of The Royal Photographic Society and in the same year worked towards, and received, the distinction Licentiate of The Royal Photographic Society.
I have also featured in On landscape magazine as one of their "Featured Photographers" and have written several articles for them, the links can be found in the main menu.
All of the images seen on this site are available as prints, please feel free to contact me with your requirements. I also offer the occasional 1-2-1 tuition day, based upon the individual clients needs.
Feel free to browse a moment and maybe leave a comment in the guest book if you wish.
Many thanks for dropping by,
Matt Lethbridge LRPS.
